Extreme weather events are becoming more frequent.

Emergency services do a great job, but too often get inundated with calls for assistance.

Let’s better prepare for emergency and disaster events with resources in our community. Coorabell Hall Association aims to:

• Facilitate a safe “Community Hub” (CHub) at Coorabell Hall for members of the community to gather and support one another

• Provide emergency electrical charging facilities (limited to a prioritized basis) 

• Provide access to a defibrillator and first aid kit

• Support and assist community communication:

• Through provision of Starlink Internet services

• As part of the Bangalow Resilience Network (BRN) CB radio network

• Assist BRN with the sharing of emergency information and resources so the community can:

• Understand what is happening 

• Solve problems using the resources and skills available in the community

• Know how to help each other and stay safe.
